Admission Bursary Application Fall/Winter 2018

To use this application to apply for Admission Bursaries and Need Based Awards, you must be applying to Western for September 2018 admission in either the first year of an Undergraduate program (programs in Arts and Humanities, Engineering, Health Science (Kinesiology, Health Science, Nursing), Information and Media Studies (MIT, MTP), Music, Science (Science, Medical Science), Social Science (Social Science and MOS) or the first year of one of the following second entry Professional Programs: Medicine, Law, Dentistry or Business (HBA1). You must also be a Canadian Citizen or permanent resident and demonstrate genuine financial need for the Fall/Winter 2018 term.

Students who are applying to Western as a part-time student, or who have previously attended a post secondary institution (and are not applying to a Professional Program listed above), must apply for bursary assistance on the Fall/Winter Financial Assistance application. The Fall/Winter Financial Assistance application will be available through the Student Center by mid August.

Applicants to all first year Undergraduate programs and the following second entry programs; Dentistry, Law and HBA1:

If you do not have a Western student number or do not know your number please contact our office to obtain your student number. (If you are a first year undergraduate applicant you can locate your student number by referring to the letter and/or email you received acknowledging receipt of your admission application. Your student number is a 9 digit number that begins with 25*******)

Please enter your 6 digit OMSAS number (for example, 2018 - 123456 only, do not enter year) and your email address in the boxes provided and click the submit button to access the application.

ALL student information collected and recorded by the University of Western Ontario is considered CONFIDENTIAL and will be released only to the student concerned or to University staff for use in the course of their duties, or with written consent of the student outlined in the UWO Guidelines on Access to Information and Protection of Privacy policy and the Official Student Record Information Privacy Policy. Such authorization will be considered in effect until the student cancels the authorization.
